Descriere: epa08827365 Dancers of the Czech National Ballet wearing protective face masks perform on stage during a rehearsal for 'Phoenix' performance at the National Theatre in Prague, Czech Republic, 04 November 2020 (issued 18 November 2020). The Czech government decided all theatre events are prohibited from 12 October 2020 due to new measures in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Czech Republic had record rise in the coronavirus disease in October. The Czech natinal ballet has been preparing a performance of Phoenix, composed of works by three choreographers, since mid August 2020. The rehearsals of the performance were made more difficult by the second wave of coronavirus, so the dance ensemble had to face obstacles in the form of sick members of the company. The premiere was scheduled for 12 November 2020, but ongoing government regulations did not allow the performance to take place in the theater. The management of the ensemble therefore decided to move the performance to January, 2021 when it hopes that the theaters will be opened.
