Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Wednesday announced two-week new precautionary measures to control the spread of the COVID-19. Madbouly said in a televised press conference that restaurants, cinemas, shops, malls, clubs and entertainment facilities will be closed at 9 p.m. local time (1900 GMT) for two weeks starting the evening of Thursday, just ahead of the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and the feast festival Eid al-Fitr.
