An underwater operation began on 24 May in Deerfield Beach where authorities said that 13 targets identified as possible sunken cars may be in the lake. Guardians for the Missing is a South Florida based non-profit organization that provide services with a main focus on underwater searches for cases of the missing with their vehicles in bodies of water.
