'They protect against the coronavirus and are reusable and suitable for handling touch screens,' said JMP Engineers managing director Eduardo Remirez. A multidisciplinary team of industrial engineers, electronics and textile mechanics, chemists, biologists and doctors from different countries, such as Spain, England, Israel and Switzerland, collaborated on the development and design. The product is manufactured entirely in Spain, in municipalities in the regions of La Rioja and Valencia, and although the current production possibility is 20,000 pairs per month, it is possible to reach 200,000 pieces, Remirez stresses.
