Descriere: epa08170122 A group of Chinese tourists wear protective masks at the Fort railway station in Colombo, Sri Lanka, 27 January 2020. Sri Lankan health and immigration officials have taken action to screen those arriving at the island's premier airports and seaports by installing thermal monitors following the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus from China. A Sri Lankan female student returning from China and a male Chinese tourist were admitted to the 'Infectious Diseases Hospital' on suspicion of being infected with the Coronavirus. Later in the night another Sri Lankan male and a Chinese female too were admitted, raising the total to four. The Medical Research Institute confirmed that the tests proved negative. Meanwhile, following a meeting at the Presidential Secretariat, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa directed the Sri Lankan Foreign Secretary and the national carrier SriLankan Airlines to take necessary steps in cooperation of the missions of the two countries to bring back 150 Sri Lankan students currently studying at universities in Sichuan and Chengdu in China within 48 hours.
