epa07859474 An Egyptian archaeologist works on the sarcophagi of the ancient Egyptian mummy of Sennedjem at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Cairo, Egypt, 21 September 2019. It is said that Sennedjem was an overseer of workers at the Deir Al-Medina necropolis in Luxor some 3,400 years ago. The coffins of Sennedjem and his wife were previously exhibited at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir among a funerary collection found inside his tomb discovered in 1886.
