ISRAEL Blue Flag Exerciseepa09545420 An Italian 35-F aircraft landing at the Israeli airbase of Ovda in the Negev Desert near the southern Israeli city of Eilat, Israel, during the 'Blue Flag' exercise on 24 October 2021. The fifth 'Blue Flag' exercise is a large-scale international aerial exercise, which takes place once every two years. The purpose of the exercise is to simulate challenging combat scenarios and coalition flight, in the most realistic way. The current exercise is the largest and most advanced exercise to date, in which eight countries participate in the practice of combining 4th generation aircraft with 5th generation (35-F) aircraft, which expands the capabilities of the Israeli Air Force on the battlefield, with air cooperation including dealings.
