epa09961904 Former Peruvian deputy Tania Pariona (R), Colombian activist Andrea Gurrute (2-R), Mapuche representative from Chile Maria Hueichaqueo (L), and activist from South Africa Tintswalo Makhubele (2-L), participate in the inauguration of the International Meeting Presentation of the proposed Agenda for Peace, and the reunion from women and youth, organized by the United Nations Entity Nations for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), in coordination with the Vice Presidency of the Plurinational State in La Paz, Bolivia, 20 May 2022. Women from Bolivia met to listen to the experiences of women leaders from Colombia, Chile, Peru, and South Africa, and continued with the process of building a proposal for the Agenda for Peace and Reunion, so that their needs and their voices are heard.
